Researchers - I think 'Von Der Goltz' is the man we need. Nothing so far.... These ones are indeed tough. |

Hello bluestreak Again, I have information, but not the exact information you need, so again I am giving it as a comment rather than as an answer. Conrad von der Goltz is currently a professor at the Hochschule fur Muzik in Wurzburg http://www.hfm-wuerzburg.de/lehrbeauftragte.htm The general email for the school is hochschule@hfm-wuerzburg.de Furthermore, it appears he is/was married to Kirsti Hjort, about whom you have another question, since she added Glotz to her name. There is a reference to a trio Hjort/Goltz/Polasek, active from 1961 (no end date given) with members given as: piano: Kirsti HJORT-GOLTZ, violin: Conrad von der GOLTZ, cello: Jan POLASEK http://www.altenbergtrio.at/archiv_trio_e.php?triofilter=h&von=0 Incidentally, the Altenberg Trio, compilers of this database (Ensemble Database (ATA/E) - Index of Performing Piano Trios), are also asking for help in filling in missing details such as dates of birth and death. You might find it useful to collaborate with them. http://www.altenbergtrio.at/kontakt_e.php |

I just stumbled upon these questions, and choose to write a comment even though the questions were raised more than a year ago, apparently. Georg Conrad Christoph Graf von der Goltz was born 18 June 1928, and is still active as a violonist and teacher in Wuerzburg, Germany. He was indeed married to Kirsti Hjort (born 8 June 1931, died 10 October 1990). slavatrudu |
