I want find out contact information about Outbound Call Centers in
India and Sri Lanka. The type of contact centers that I am looking for
are those who do telesales and marketing services internationally via
VOIP calling.

Thank you very much for your question. There are a large number of
call centers in India. How many contacts do you specifcally require? I
can vouch for a couple 5-6 in India because I have got friends working
there. Will 5 or 6 be enough?

I now have a list of call centers with me who are involved in the
services you talk of. These centers in this part of the world are
called BPO (Business Process Outsourcing)Offices. I will post them for

Hi Shiv, 

Thank you for posting the Clarification Request, and for your efforts
to answer my question.

The number is not the issue, as eventually I will do business with one
or two BPO’s. In fact, I have visited http://www.dir.indiamart.com and
http://www.weblinkindia.net and they provided me wit a lot of
references. However, it was difficult to find out those which will
match my requirements.

So, Maybe it will make more sense if I share with you what I am trying
to achieve by this process…
·	Outsource Telesales Operations: Efficiently run operations through a
scalable call center. What I mean by scalable is that they can work
with an initial small number of 10 agents, and ramp up operations to
around 60 agents by the end of 2003.
·	Do Business Outside North America: My target PBO should be able to
setup facilities to reach countries outside North America, because my
target contacts are distributed over 8 countries in Europe, Middle/Far
East.
·	Multilingual operations: Naturally the main (and most important)
language of communications is English, but it would be a big plus if
they can also expand by handling French, Arabic, and Spanish
operations.

I thought by providing this information it would be easier to zero-in
on the target BPO. If you need any additional information, please do
let me know.

Hi,

Thank you for clarifying. I can help you with call centers based in
Chennai, INDIA. I will personally contact these companies with the
details you require and will let you know exactly which companies to
initiate your communication with.

However, I dont think I can provide you with much information on call
centers in Sri Lanka, but can assure you that the best services will
be available within the Indian market.

Hi,

Yes please do that. I am at the moment in contact with a friend from a
particular call center and he would like to know more about your case.

There is a hitch however, I dont think that the companies here can
carry out their services in languages other than english. I will
however check on that and will let you know.

Plenty in India -- 24/7, customerasset.com and iSeva are some of the
well-known ones.
