Hi ghostofachance~

First, I have to say that I'm afraid no researcher will be able to
answer your question without posting it publicly. Researchers are
forbidden--under all circumstances--to contact customers through any
form other than this public forum.

Secondly, if I found that the website of the said researcher is now
defunct, would you accept this as an answer? I could instead point you
in the direction of several websites that tell his story, giving the
paranormal researcher in question full credit.

Hi ghostofachance-ga,

Good day and thanks for your question.

The story you are looking for is titled "Red-Eyes" by Lee Taylor, who
has been investigating this incident for 30 years. The original URL of
the story now is a porn-ad of a webcam with no trace of the story. The
oringal URL was http://www.tgka.com/lee/spooks/eyes.htm

However, there are many copies of the story on the web.

Lee Taylor first posted this story on the alt.folklore.ghost-stories
newsgroup on 22nd Feb, 1997. You can view this post at
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=330FE317.5D54%40tgka.com&rnum=1

The above it the *original* story

Copies of the story are found at the following URLs

http://www.ghosts.org/stories/tales/red-eyes.html

http://yumaspirithunters.com/ghost_stories.html (which mentions the
original URL)

I hope this answers your auestion. If you have any clarifications,
please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you for using this service and have a nice day

Warm Regards,
aditya2k

Hi ghostofachance~

It looks like another researcher scooped me :) Here was my answer:

The paranormal researcher you refer to is Lee Taylor; his personal
experience inside a trailer in Pheonix, AZ included seeing a pair of
red glowing eyes that were about 6.5 feet above the ground and had
"cat-like" pupils.

This story is told on many different websites, including Ghost
Stories:
http://www.geocities.com/castle_roogna/ghoststories/redeyes.html

and Ghosts.org:
http://www.ghosts.org/stories/tales/red-eyes.html

Throughout the Internet, Lee Taylor is given credit for this story,
and sometimes his website address is given out (including at the
Ghosts.org site); HOWEVER, I must caution you that it seems his site
has been taken over by porn.

The email address Ghosts.org and other sites offer for Mr. Taylor is
also no longer good.

I wish I could be of further assistance, but it appears Mr. Taylor's
website is defunct.
