Hello,

Depending on who your local phone service provider is, there might be
a solution for you without needing an extra device. Some phone
companies offer a service that will permanently line block your number
so that it prevents Call Display on the other end. You can then choose
to let call display work on some of the calls you make by types *92 or
something else depending on who your phone company is. This feature
usually comes with Unlisting a number, but can also be offered
seperatly. To check for availability in your area, you will need to
contact your phone provider.

"PERMANENT CALLER NUMBER BLOCKING - NO CHARGE
Your phone number will be displayed on every call you make to those
who subscribe to Caller name/number ID. This option will
automatically block you number from displaying on caller ID boxes. If
you wish to have your number/name display you must dial *82 before
making the call."

If you really do want a device then there are some phones that provide
automatic caller-ID blocking, this phone is one example:

Any phone that is capable of dialing a prefix automatically is the
device solution that you would need to obtain. I was able to locate
only the above phone that offers this feature, but if you go shopping
for a phone, then you want to look for a phone that is capable of
automatically dialing a prefix.

My suggestion would be that you ask your phone company first if they
provide automatic call blocking before purchasing a new phone that
will dial the necessary prefix for you. I was unable to locate a
seperate device that automatically does call blocking for you outside
of getting a new phone.

I hope this is the answer you were looking for. Let me know if you
need any clarifications.
