Hello shs-ga,

Skermit-ga has already mentioned one auction result: "A signed and
titled painting of Saul Raskin 'Hassidic Song Without Words' ... sold
for $2000" in June 1999

An apparently untitled but signed watercolor (16 1/2" x 24" sight
size) described as "Modernist New York waterfront scene" sold for $500
in May 2001.

I have not found other sale prices online. But you should be able to
find out some additional prices fairly easily.

A framed oil on canvasboard painting entitled "Mountain Fortress",
signed in Hebrew, was estimated at $800-$1200 prior to auction at
Skinner, Inc. in April 2001. You can try contacting Skinner to find
out the sale price; if that doesn't work, you can obtain the price,
for a fee, from p4A.com.

Another subscriber database provides estimates and sale prices for
three signed Raskin paintings (two oils and a watercolor).

AskART

Finally, you might contact Alex Cooper Auctioneers Inc. about three
more signed paintings (one oil on artist board, and two mixed media on
artist board) that were scheduled to be auctioned on September 15-16,
2001. (It is conceivable that the auction did not occur at that time,
due to the events of September 11, 2001.)

I hope that this information is helpful.
