Hello Charlie,

The easiest way to find out who is behind an ip address is to open up
a command prompt.
1) Click on Start and click Run.
2) Type in cmd.exe and click OK.
3) Type in tracert 62.6.94.96. (tracert stands for trace route).
4) Note the very last line that shows:
host62-6-9-94-96.in-addr.btopenworld.com

After you have this information, the the next thing to do is type in
http://www.btopenworld.com. After visiting the base domain, usually
after confirming that it is an Internet Service Provider, you can
safely asume that the place to report this incident is
abuse@btopenworld.com. Most internet service providers have an
abuse@isp.com email for people in situations like you to report their
users who are abusing their terms of Service.

To make sure that this will work in this case, I emailed
mailto:abuse@btopenworld.com and quickly received a reply that said:
"We take each and every case of abuse very seriously. BT Openworld
will not tolerate the abuse of its network and/or Internet resources."

What you need to mail to the internet service provider, is LOGS from
your Norton Program with records of these attacks. Make sure you have
Dates, Times (tell them the Time Zone you are in) and include the IP
address. I am not familiar with the Norton Program in particular, but
it should have logs that you should be able to copy to the text of an
email. The reason that it is important to tell them your time zone and
give them times and dates, is that more than one person might be using
the IP address, and they will have to check their logs to see who it
is that caused this problem for you.

I hope this answers your question, and good luck in getting this
problem solved. If you need further clarification, let me know and I
will do my best to further assist you.
