I'm looking for just about any drawer pull that has a 5" bore for some
bedroom furniture. There are plenty of 3" to 4" bores, but I can't
seem to find the 5" ones that I need for this furniture! PLEASE HELP
ME! Thanks, Beejie Sutton

Hi Beejie,

I found some for sale on the Web. You didn't specify a location, so I
hope on-line shopping will work for you.

The MyKnobs.com web site has a large selection. On their Advanced
Search page, you can select 5" in the DIMENSION drop-down list and get
hundreds of choices. You can also narrow it down by finish or color,
manufacturer, material, availability, and style, and you can sort the
results by manufacturer or price.

TooHome has some too, but the selection looks smaller and the search
function isn't as good.

Search Strategy:

5 inch pull OR pulls
://www.google.com/search?num=25&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q=5+inch+pull+OR+pulls&btnG=Google+Search

5\" drawer pull OR pulls
://www.google.com/search?num=25&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q=5%5C%22+drawer+pull+OR+pulls&btnG=Google+Search

This was a bit tricky to search, since the double quotation mark is
commonly used to signify inches in web pages, as in your question, but
in a search query, it marks the beginning or end of a phrase and so is
not taken literally. In some programming languages, you can precede a
quotation mark with a backslash to get it to be taken literally, so I
tried it with Google, and it seemed to help, although this trick
doesn't seem to be documented in Google's help pages. However, all
this high-tech magic didn't really produce particularly valuable
results. I found MyKnobs.com through an advertisement on the Google
search results page from the second search.

I also checked with my wife, who recently shopped for pulls on-line,
and she recommended MyKnobs.com for your needs.

I hope this information is helpful.
