I need a roller-clutch ratchet assembly, not as part of a tool, but as a stand-alone component (about 25mm diameter). NASA researchers have produced one which they incorporate in a wrench. References below: (3-D Sprag Ratcheting Tools Inventors: Michael O. Wade and James W.Poland, Jr. Invention Disclosure Submitted: 27 June 1996 Case Number: GSC 13,802) Vranish, J. M., "Three-Dimensional Roller Locking Sprags," U.S. Patent 5,482,144, January 1996) I can't locate anything else myself, any help or info will be much appreciated, and of course paid for. Thanks, Don Smith email donsmith@myoffice.net.au |

Because we believe that these technologies are complementary and that most suitable mechanism applications will require both, Honeybee Robotics has obtained a non-exclusive license for the 3D Locking Sprag technology from NASA and is thus able to pass both technologies on to propective licensees within one licensing agreement.
