I have become a member of mp3u.com and paid a fee of 9 pounds when i
access the members page it askes for a user name and password could
you please find out where i get this information from please

This is a strange one. The owner of the site is in Pakistan, which may
or may not mean anything. There is no contact information on the site
for getting in touch with them. Usually when a user tries to log into
a site such as this with an invalid username, the site offers a way to
have that information emailed to the confused user, but mp3u.com just
refuses to log an invalid user on, and gives no other link or
information. Very odd.

How long ago did you pay your fees? Have you had any contact at all
from these people? Are you certain you gave them a correctly spelled
email address?

I already have a couple of "back door" email inquiries out to try to
find out more about mp3u.com, but any additional information you
provide might be of use.

Hi grunty,
How did you learn about mp3u.com? Did you receive an advertisement in
your emails?  Their website claims that they're chosen by ZDNet
editors, but a search at ZDNet indicates that there was never a review
on them.  If they lie about that, I think they're just a scam out to
get your money.

I'm afraid I concur with Secret901 - I think you've hooked by a scam.
They just take your money and run, and they're in a place where it's
difficult to send the authorities after them.
