There are many programs that keep track of your user IDs and passwords
- both free and commercial applications.
Here are some that caught my eye
Roboform

An advanced password tracking software, that will automatically
"memorize" passwords you use on websites. It can automatically log
into websites, fill out forms, etc.
Cost: free trial, with limitations, or $29.95 to upgrade to "Pro"
version.
Password Depot

Password auto complete on web pages, and a small bar in IE, that
allows easy access to your passwords.
Cost: free trial, with limitations, or $26.17 to upgrade to
"Professional' version.
Access Manager 1.3
http://www.citi-software.co.uk/am/
This is more of a general-purpose password manager. It does not have
features specific to the web, such as auto-complete, but allows you to
organize your passwords into categories, search for passwords, etc.
Cost: free for personal use.

Here's some software that can search for IE passwords, or other
passwords stored on your computer.
Advanced Internet Explorer Password Recovery

A program to recover passwords to web sites saved in Microsoft
Internet Explorer (in local password list), as well as AutoComplete
strings (form fields). It can also reset Content Advisor Passwords. IE

Allows recovery of passwords for many applications, including Internet
explorer, Microsoft Word/Excel, WinZip, etc.
Cost: Free demo, and full version for $395.00
