Hi there! Personally, I like "General Slim" for a tall and skinny tactician. "General" would imply strong leadership abilities, and everyone knows that good generals are brilliant strategists. (OK, I'll confess, I also think tall, thin military men are pretty hot... ;) ) For a fun military name generator, I like the Metal Gear Solid generator: Metal Gear Solid Code Names http://www.buzzsite.com/goodies/MGSnamegen/ Using my real name, I get "Iron Beetle" (not bad), but I think my cat got a better one with "Liquid Eagle". A little fidgeting with different versions of your own name may be just the ticket! Fellow Researcher sgtgory-ga, a Sergeant in the USMC, had some terrific suggestions as well: echotango - E.T., denotes intelligence mark19 - a grenade launcher (!) He also suggested some military aircraft names: Flightline - US Military Aircraft Nicknames http://www.coastcomp.com/av/fltline2/nickname.htm Sarge favors "Rapier", while I lean more towards "Hawkeye" or "Strike Eagle" - all three imply sharp senses and attention to detail, very desireable traits in a tactician. Alternatively, there's "Switchblade" - slender, sharp and deadly, or you could give the Superhero/Villains Generator a try: Superhero Name Generator http://www.seventhsanctum.com/gens/index-supe.html I hope this helps! If you need further assistance, just ask! I'd be glad to help! --Missy Search terms: [ "name generator" military ] and a hand from some cool leatherneck. |

Nice effort and you've helped with the other thing I'm kinda weak on, being creative... Anyhow, there's several good names there and I'll have fun playing around with the sites you've provided. Slim seems a particularly appropriate name so I think I'll focus on something using that. (It would be pretentious of me to use general amongst other players...) Like I said, they're all very good names, just gotta get the right "fit". Thanks Missy and all! |

I think "SpiderHawk" would be a very cool name for a slim guy who is a good aim with a paintball gun. ;-) |

When coming up for a good gaming name, I usually look to figures in history or literature. Paracelcus, Homunculus, Hohenheim, Gotterdammerung, Auslander, etc etc etc.... |

What do you think about Slim Hawk. Sounds nice. Or Blowgun Parakeet. Scarface (remembers Scar from The Lion King. Ow, maybe Scargotcha! |
