Dear breakofdawn,

Despite extensive research, I did not find any reference to one artist
Karl Nobles anywhere, neither online nor in a couple of multi-volume
art encyclopedias. The closest hits were: Carl E. Noble (worked in the
1940s), Charles F. Noble (first half of the 19th century), and Charles
Noblesse (late 17th and early 18th century). Could it be one of them?

Regards,
Scriptor

Do you have any information, names, dates etc. of any of his works?
Was he a painter (oil, watercolor, etc.)?
