Joni Mitchell’s original artwork is quite rare. It appears that she
has only done a few exhibitions of her work and most of it seems to be
closely held in private collections. I did however find one of her
original pieces listed for sale at the website of Doubletake Gallery
in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The piece listed is “Nighttime at the
Nucleus”, 1978. The direct link to this piece is

I know you specifically asked about original art, however, I did find
a signed limited edition print, which recently sold at Ebay.com

You may want to contact this seller about any access they may have to
other prints or originals.

Depending on your budget, a print may be the way to go. This print
sold for $185, whereas the original described above is listed at
$40,000.
