Up Up and Away (in my beautiful balloon) by the 5th Dimension, was
this song ever on a sountrack, either movie or t.v. show?

The song "Up, Up and Away" by the 5th Dimension has been released on
two CDs, neither of which are a sound track.

The only program that I found that might include the song would be
this one:

While it is possible that the song was used at some time in a small
movie or tv show, chances are that finding the movie or show involved
are slim.

Your best bet would to be contact the BMG and Arista Labels and ask
them if they know of any programs the song was used in.
