Hello teri440,
Great question!
Q. Looking for motecoms?
The items you are looking for are actually called 'emoticons':-) The
graphical versions most people call 'smileys'. You can find a whole
bunch of smileys for download at the following sites :
IronWorks Smileys
http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles.html
Here's a big dictionary full of 'emoticons' and what most of them
mean:
Emoticon Dictionary

Emoticon Dictionary #2
http://members.aol.com/bearpage/smileys.htm
This site has actual graphical representations of emoticons (neat) :
Emoticons Graphics
http://www.frenchspot.com/Graphics/Icons/Emoticons2/emoticons2.html
And here is a place where you can learn to make your own smileys:

Q. Can I put them on my tool bar?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The text ones you can not, because the toolbar requires a graphic.
With regular smileys you can, but you need to convert them to the
proper icon format first, which is .ico Most smileys come in .gif
format. Here is a tool that will help you do the conversion, so you
can them use them for this purpose :
Any to Icon
This software is trial ware. It will expire after a ceratain date, but
will help give you the feel for how to do this. The file you are
looking for at the site below is called 'Any to Icon 1.26'
http://www.aha-soft.com/download.htm
Using the tool above, you can create your own graphical emoticons in
your graphics program, then change them to an icon for use in your
toolbar :-)
To help find this answer I searched Google for:

convert gif to icon

I hope this answers your question! Should you need further
clarification, please ask before rating this answer, as I would love
to be of further help.
Thanks for the great question!
