I'm looking for a song. I heard it around 1980 on the Moody
Broadcasting network station in Cleveland, Ohio. It was sung by Gail
Thornton (the wife of Andre Thornton, the Cleveland Indians slugger of
the time). The title was "The Butterfly Song" I think. The messaage
is that helping the butterfly out of its cocoon deprives it of the
struggle needed for its survival. I did find some Christian songs
with this title - one a children's song and one a praise song, but
those aren't the song I'm looking for.

There's a 'Chrysalis song' at
http://www.emmaus.org.au/chrysalis/Chrysalis_Song.htm, but the message
and the copyright date don't appear to tally with yours.

Is this the song of praise you mentioned?

Jon.

The 'Chrysalis song' at
http://www.emmaus.org.au/chrysalis/Chrysalis_Song.htm is not the
praise song I found, but it is not the song I seek.
