Hello Bluestreak,

Have you tried "Ask Max" at the website of the Philadelphia Athletics
Historical Society (http://philadelphiaathletics.org/a1.html)?

Scroll to the bottom of the page.

It states the following:

"Do you have a question about someone who had a professional career in
baseball and you would like to know more about his statistics, teams,
league, and teammates? Click here to "Ask Max" your question. If he
ever played in professional baseball, we will try and answer your
question, free of any charge as part of our commitment to share the
history of professional baseball in America. Include his name and as
much as you know about his career."

I know your question is about what he did after he played baseball,
but who knows, maybe they have the information that you are looking
for.

Googlenut,
Thank you so much for taking a look at one of mine. I did as
you suggested. Now we'll see what happens. A year ago, I contacted the
A's historical group, and asked a few of them. They had never heard of
him. But hey, I'm not proud. Maybe they forgot me, and a different
member will know something. So thanks a lot, googlenut for sticking
around. I can sure use the help. bluestreak
