James Wright was born in New Orleans in 1914. He and his 2 brother
formed the famed flash dance act The Berry Brothers. James was known
as Jimmy Berry. He died Jan.28,1969. Jimmy began dancing with his
brothers in 1929. I need his birth date & yr.  Tap dancer - Jazz
hoofer are likely categories to search. Also Berry Brothers. I can pay

Question for you. I've been working on this one and while I've found
references to Jimmy Berry, I've yet to run into the "Wright" surname.
So that we can target this a bit better and maybe get it off your
books, can you tell us where you've already looked and maybe explain
the Wright connection? Thanks!

Hi luciaphile! It's always the greatest pleasure helping you to help
me. I got the info on the Berry's fromt the famous book, "Jazz
Dance:the Story of American Vernacular Dance" by Marshall and Jean
Stearns(1964,1966,1968)and also www.streetswing.com/Berry Brothers.  I
don't know if this is enough. But I will give you everything I have. I
will hold back nothing. I do not remember where I saw the Wright
reference. It might have been online somewhere.
