I'm looking for the name and playwright of a play that I saw performed at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in the Black Swan Theater in the '80's. It took place on the remote Irish coast. My best recollection is the name of the play was "Shore Marks", but my memory could be fooling me. |

Hello rwinz, I think I found the play you were looking for! Was it perhaps "Sea Marks" in 1986? The Playwright is listed as Gardner McKay and the Director was Henry Woronicz. It was indeed performed at the Black Swan Theatre. I found this information listed at in the Oregon Shakespeare Festival archives: http://www.osfashland.com/about/archives81-90.html If this was not the play you were looking for, I have contacted the Oregon Festival directly and asked them for some further information, which I will post when I hear a reply from them. You can find more about the playwright and the play here: http://www.reviewplays.com/sea_marks.htm If you want more information about this play and the playwright, I suggest you click on the first link that I have listed in search strategy below. I hope this has answered your question.
