After moving to a netgear rp614 router i can't seem to maintain any
interactive connection such as ssh.
I am use the neatgear to login to my ppoe account and i killed idle
timeout by putting 0 but no luck.
I want to know how in the world i fix this.
I also upgraded to the latest firmware for my modem.

Do you have a USB modem and a VIA KT133 chipset MB?

Well i am using a speedstream 5360 modem..
Its connected to my netgear router.
I am running windows xp on a amd xp 2100 processor.
Chipset is uhhh..Good question.
Motherboard is a shuttle spacewalker ak31
Chipset might be kt266a i think,.

Hello,
Thanks for the extra info,
the problem is not what I thought it might be, but one other user
reports dropped connections but unfortunately I could not find any
solution or further information. I hope another researcher can come up
with the cure. (In the meantime, I will keep it at the back of my mind
incase I do dig something up)
