Hi joy1948-

Based on my own experience, the aloe vera plant, a succulent, is very
easy to grow as long as you never let it freeze and give it lots of
sun. It will grow outdoors or in and requires very little special
attention.
As you may know, many people keep aloe vera in their kitchen because
the gel inside the leaves is a great salve for burns. It has other
medicinal properties, too.
