Antonio Monteiro is no longer Portugal's representative at the U.N.
Monteiro was Permanent Representative of Portugal to the United
Nations from January 1997 to March 2001. Since March 2001, Monteiro
has been "Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Portugal to
the French Republic."
