Palm Springs and the surrounding communities. Since you asked
specifically for those specializing in hands/fingers, I am not going

two hand specialists in the Palm Springs area (zip code 922xx). One
doctor (Eric L. Freedman, MD) is on both lists and the second ASSH
listing is for Stephen J. O'Connell, MD, who is with Desert
Orthopaedic Center which you said you weren't interested in, so I'll
not give you his details.

You should be aware of this statement on the AAOS website: "AAOS does
not track its members by specialty. However, members may elect to
categorize their practice to the specialties listed below under
Practice Demographics."
That means there may be other orthopaedic surgeons in the area who do
hand/finger surgery but have not publicly advertised that fact. The
only way to ascertain which other Palm Springs orthopaedists may
specialize in hand work would be to call individual offices and
inquire, which is beyond the scope of this question. However, if you
