In the miramax film Shakespeare in Love, how authentic were the surface
treatment/textiles such as tapestries, rugs, and wall hangings to the
time period(15th century)I have already researched and established
what was typical to the time period for the wealthy landowners but am
having difficulty finding evidence of how authentically(or not) did
the set designers for this film translate their research to the actual
set. (i.e.are the colors and patterns of the textiles they used
accurate?)

"Shakespeare in Love" was set in the very late 16th century. This may help.
