I posted this as a comment since the time has expired and this is not a complete answer. I had to literally read through a lot of materials in an attempt to help you on your thesis. I wasn't able to finish the research because I had to attend to a personal matter. I saw some promising references that you can use. Here are the links: ://www.google.com/search?q=+%22an+escape+from+reality%22+personal&sa=Google+Search&cat=&hl=en "I'm fond of the dramatic and fantastic. Some would call it an escape from reality, whereas I refer to it as expanding reality through imagination." http://web.media.mit.edu/~hannes/personal.html Transition of personal preferences from Legos, sci-fi fantasy books, Dungeon's and Dragons, and to what next - I don't know. Aaron Engel's Website or Another Escape From Reality http://www.sit.wisc.edu/~ajengel/escape.html Other links that may be of help: http://www.ifh.org/english/success2.htm http://www.workingpsychology.com/intro.html I hope this helps.
