Discounted could have multiple meanings such as a lender offering a better deal than most of his competitors, but the usual meaning is a mortage is sold to a third party for 10% to 90% of the money left to be collected. In the later definition, I'm puzzled what you mean by "own" Do you mean a branch or subsidiary of a company might lead money to another branch? Please clarify. Neil |
