I have an adopted niece who is Choco Indian from Panama. I want to buy her a natitivy scene, preferably made of the local soapstone but if not that any medium is acceptable. I want it made in Panama by the Choco Indians. I want to import it into the U.S. I need help finding a source. | |

While I was not able to locate a nativity scene made by Choco Indians in soapstone or another medium, I did locate one importer who may be able to query the Choco artists in area for you or perhaps negotiate a custom order. The web site of the importer is located at http://ginnups.com/ and I found it in a search for "choco indians art import." I hesitate to post this as an answer because the contact may prove unhelpful.
