no these are chemical light sticks.
What I was looking for are called Isotopes or betalites they last for
years and are fitted to the bobbin or bite alarm by glue.
You do not have to shake or break to activate.

Dear tezj11,

I would like to apologize for my mistake. I have continued my
research, but I am sorry to say that, although I spent hours on
locating carp angling isotopes manufacturers, I found only two of
them, both located in the United Kingdom:

Solar Tackle, British manufacturer of Fluoro glowing isotopes for carp
angling:

Solar Tackle
PO Box 22
Orpington
Kent
BR6 7XF
United Kingdom
Phone: +44 (0)1689 874654
Website: http://www.solartackle.co.uk/

Gold Label Tackle, British manufacturer of Hi-Power angling isotopes:

Gold Label Tackle
378 Boldmere Road
Boldmere
Sutton Coldfield
West Midlands B73 5EZ
United Kingdom
Phone: +44 (0)121 377 7533
Fax: +44 (0)121 377 7785

Fox International angling equipment, who have also been making fishing
isotopes, have discontinued production of their Micron Isotopes
temporarily, However, you might want to contact them:

Fox International
56-58 Fowler Road
Hainault Industrial Est
Hainault, Essex
IG6 3UT
United Kingdom
Phone: +44 (0)208 559 6500
Fax: +44 (0)208 501 1655
E-Mail: info@foxint.com
Website: http://www.foxint.com/

Though this list is, to my own dissapointment, very short, I strongly
hope that these addresses prove useful for you. Again, I beg your
pardon for misunderstanding your question first.

Best regards,
Scriptor
