that sells t-shirts of the Japanese garage/punk/rock n' roll band,
Guitar Wolf. I've already tried the official site
(www.guitarwolf.net) but they don't ship outside of Japan, and neither
gemm.com nor a post on the Matador Records (their U.S. label) bulletin
board both turned up any results. Language and location don't matter
as long as they ship to America. Also, I need to have the shirt by
Christmas. Can someone help? |

Hi uchuujin-
I've had such little success finding a place that sells them that I'd
be happy with anything, but ideally, I'd like either the black "Murder
By Rock" design or the "'97 Missle Tour" design. Both are on their
webpage. Failing that, I'd prefer a black or white shirt that
features only Guitar Wolf (in other words, I don't want one of the
tour shirts on their webpage that features other bands they've played
with, like the Dragons or the Zodiac Killers).
Oh, also: I don't know exactly how much bigger Japanese sizes are
than American sizes, but the person this shirt is for wears an
American size small or kid's large.

Have you considered dropping
one of the designs that you
like from Guitar Wolf onto a
shirt at a place like:

That's a good idea, and it might be a good last-resort sort of thing.
I think I'd like a shirt of a bit higher quality and more, uh,
"official," though.
Oh, and after consulting the person this shirt is for, a medium might
fit her better...I'm starting to think that I shouldn't be too picky
about size, though.

Hi again thatsasin,
I had a Japanese speaking friend
look over the guitar wolf website.
She said that they will ship to the
US but the problem seems to be that
you have to become essentially a
"Guitar Wolf Club member" That appears
to be 2000 yen. That is in addition
to the T-shirt cost, shipping and
presumably handling. In addition to
that, I'm not sure how long shipping
to the US from there would be. I'm
sure Xmas is possible but at what
cost?
I can't post the Guitar Wolf site as
the answer since you stated that they
won't ship to the US but maybe you'd
like to inquire with them again? I have
also sent them an email just in case.

Well, they replied to the email...
They said they are not shipping to
the US, which conflicts with info
from their page. But agrees with
what you stated. Must be why you
are here huh? =)
I'm still search alternatives.
