Question ID: 117336
Could someone give me a summary of "Red Mars" by Kim Stanley Robinson?
I read half the book and I just couldn't stand to continue reading.
However, I'm still curious about how things worked out, so I'd like a
basic summary of all the most important events in the book. How did
Hiroko come back? Who was the Coyote? Why was the Coyote a stow-away
and what was his basic purpose in the book? Who was behind all the
attacks that John failed to uncover? How did the book end? What other
major events happened in the latter half of the book?

Thanks! The http://hubcap.clemson.edu/~sparks/marsindx.html link was
pretty good, but it didn't actually tell me who was behind the attacks
that John was investigating.

If you can find similar overviews of Green Mars and Blue Mars I'll
tack on an additional $7.

The answer to some of your questions seems to be 'no reason'. But take
a look at these pages and if they satisfy you then I'll claim the
money.

Green Mars was well-received and you can read a fairly detailed plot
summary here:

There's a shorter review at

Blue Mars didn't go over so well and didn't get so much attention: the
best plot summary I could find was at

http://scifi.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sfsite.com%2F%7Esilverag%2Fbluemars.html

There's also a good brief review at

There's a KSR newsgroup at alt.fan.kim-stanley-robinson, but there
wasn't much activity when I was there. You can search the archives at
