Franz Stammpfl was a famed track & field and running coach. He was
born in Autria(1913) and died in Melbourne,Australia on Mar.19,1995 at
the age of 81. He had fled Autria('36). He coached Autralian runners
from Melbourne University. In 1980, a car accident left him a
quadriplegic;spent his last 15 yrs. coaching runners from a
wheelchair. He many world record & Olympians in the 50's & 60's. I
need his date of birth.

Franz Stampfl's date of birth is November 18, 1913. 

From the Times of London:
"Franz Stampfl, athletics coach, died in Melbourne on March 19 aged
81. He was born in Vienna on November 18, 1913. MORE than any other
coach, Franz Stampfl can claim credit for the remarkable and
innovative training methods which led to Roger Bannister..."
