Roberto Quercetani has been the world's premier track statistician
since 1950, when he helped found the Association of Track & Field
Statisticians. He served as it's 1st President from 1950-68. He was
bonr in Florence,Italy in 1922. I need his date of birth.

and written him before but didn't hear from him. I will try to call

         Hi. I have good news. Thanks for the lead of his phone
number. I called him at 3PM(9PM Italy time). I was able to speak with
him for about a half hour and never have spoken with a more gracious,
sweet-natured, cultured, and gentle gentlemen. He gave me his
birthday, May 3,1922 in Florence,Italy. So thank you so much. Could

Thank you so much for your note! I'm glad you made contact with Mr.
Quercetani. I also went ahead and emailed the secretary of an
organization he is honorary president of

surprisingly, he told me the same date, May, 3, 1922.

Still waiting to hear back from the Lasker Society. I'll let you know
once they get back to me.

Gwagner was able to obtain my subject's address & phond number. I was
able to sucessfully use the phone number to resolve the question &
gwagner was also able to resolve the question independently on his own
as well!  Excellent working together as a team, I would say. Anxious
to have him tackle my other questions! By the way, I have improved the
prices of those questions that I'm most anxious to put behind me. Can
