I am at Yale University in New Haven, CT.

I would like to have an ATM installed in a student-run snack shop on
the Yale campus.  We are a non-profit and would like to avoid upfront
spending or management inconveniences.  I am looking for a few firms
that install and manage ATMs (probably on a fee-revenue sharing
basis), like the ATMs you find in liquor stores (small and cheap,
where bullet-proof security is not required).  Our site would be the
only ATM within 5+ blocks in a high density area, and should generate
a respectable number of transactions per month.

I'm new to the area and don't know what banks or other companies might
offer this service locally, so I'm looking for a shortlist of
companies I should talk to along with any available information about
the cost/revenue sharing structures they work with.

of distributors who offer free ATM placement. This seems to be your
only solution if you wish to avoid “upfront spending” as stated in
your question. Most of the resources I located are national rather
than local companies. In the list below I noted any companies with an
