I have a limited Company which gives training in the chemical
industry, which includes working overseas from the UK. I am attempting
to obtain Professional Indemnity Insurance with a minimum of £1million
cover.
I have been quoted (by a broker, PIA Ltd) £1750 with the first £2500
excess payable by me.

The cost has risen from £400 to £1750 in one year!!! This ridiculous
rise has been explained by the Broker as normal and that "...insurance
generally has gone through the roof in the past 12 months..."
Anyone having similar problems, and have found a reasonable
/acceptable alternative to that shown above?
