Hi bbombpig-ga,

It is highly unlikely there are specific national regulation on golf
in China; when regulations would exist, it would be on a provincial
level. What provinces are you looking at? When - as I expect - also on
a provincial level those regulations do not exist, would that be
acceptable as an answer?

Have been thinking on how to solve this problem. While I cannot answer
your problem directly, but I can give you a clue about the key
questions you have to face.
Then I assume that there is a market for golf mats in China, I assume
you would ask this question because there are actually companies
interested in buying your products.

(if you can't get the above, type Golf and searc at main screen)

golf mats would be classified under a category called "Golf clubs and
other golf equipment, Other" which is subject to a tariff rate of
33.38% *this is based on 1999 figures (might be changed)

the best authority would still be to get a China contact.

could be useful to check with the National Library of China if they
allow for foreign inquiries.
