No, he wasn't an Impressionist. He did work with marble and mosaics in
murals done on commission for the City of New York c. 1969-1980, but I
already have info on that period. He lived in NYC 1959-1984, then
Tonawanda NY until 1991. Work was shown in a galery in Cologne, (West)
Germany in early '80s, and he had a major retrospective in the
National Gallery in Budapest in 1985, as well as other shows too
numerous to mention. His widow, Edit, lives in Florida (I think) and
she may have exhibited some of his work there since 1991. What I'm
really interested is what has become of the nearly 3000 canvases he
left behind when he died. Are they being shown, or what?
