Angel -- The PBS site, "American Experience" explains the "Twenty-One" gameshow scandal on its web page on Dan Enright, the producer: www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/quizshow/ peopleevents/pande04.html "Twenty-One" hyped the popularity of its show, which was positioned against the top-rated "I Love Lucy" by having Charles Doren, a Columbia University professor, win every week for 14 straight weeks. But it wasn't the only show arranging for participants to get fed answers -- and it led to a New York Grand Jury investigation in 1958 and Congressional investigations by 1959: History at University of San Diego "The Quiz Shows" http://history.sandiego.edu/gen/filmnotes/quizshow2.html If you'd like more details please let me know.
