Who were the grand parents (both sides) of Mere Riripeti Whakaraurahi
RAHARUHI?
Mere Riripeti Whakaraurahi RAHARUHI was a member of the maori Ngati
Kahungunu tribe round the Hawkes Bay region in New Zealand. I want to
know where she fits into the charts mentioned in the book 'Horoutu' by
Rongowhakaata and this information verified.

have found -- the names of the parents, not the grandparents -- is not
what you originally asked for.  However, are these names worth posting
as an answer, perhaps to a lower priced question?

I have posted a message and sent a couple of e-mails to persons who
were recently discussing this family on a geneology forum.  They know
who her parents were; I've asked whether they know who her
grandparents were.  I will let you know if I receive any replies.

I would just add that finding the direct line between Mere Riripeti
Whakaraurahi  RAHARUHI and Kahungunu (chief of Ngati Kahungunu trtibe)
is my aim in this research. Where she fits into the geneological
charts which are published in a variety of sources including but not
necessarily confined to 'HOROUTA' by Rongowhakaata Halbert.
