Hi,
Does Google consider these two link pages I have on my Family web site
(http://www.mccommasfamily.com) to be link farms?
1) http://www.mccommasfamily.com/other09.htm
2) http://alisonandjeffrey.links4trade.com/links.html
Thank you,
Jeffrey McCommas

Hi,

Probably not. The first is not ranked at all, and the second as a
PageRank of 0. Your links on this page are not helping your PageRank.
Your page is not ranked either.

Here is some information for you to look into.

Reasons your site may not be included

Hi,

I just re-read your question and I got it backwards. heh :-)

When I read it I thought you where buying links from those two sites
to yours, which would have been a mistake, considering their
PageRanks.

Those two pages aren't really "considered" much at all. This page on
your site
http://www.mccommasfamily.com/arts09.htm
Has no page ranking at all which is consistent with the front page's
PR, but yes, the term "Link Farm" would apply here. Though I don't
suspect you are going to get much of a worry from them because of it.

This page
http://alisonandjeffrey.links4trade.com/
is the same as this page
http://alisonandjeffrey.links4trade.com/links.html

which could be considered spaming or simply ignored because of the
duplicate content of your website, and may have a bearing on why your
page rank is 0.

There is nothing wrong with having a links page and the page you have
here
http://alisonandjeffrey.links4trade.com/
is a good way to do it, a like, a title and some content describing
the site. Those are good link pages, and would not be considered "Link
Farming" most of the time.

I hope I've answered this for you and if you have any questions please
feel free to use the Clarifications option.

Thanks,
