Dear trot-ga,

You’ve requested information about a home high definition satellite
receiver that has both component and s-video output simultaneously.

I have located a couple of receivers that have such output –

The Mitsubishi SR-HD400 is a High-Definition Satellite Receiver System
with both component and s-video output. You can access a review of
this receiver at –

http://www.laaudiofile.com/srhd400.html

The Mitsubishi SR-HD500 also includes the satellite dish. A
specifications sheet for this receiver is available at –

http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/PDFs/srhdspecs.pdf

This system is available from –

http://www.theaudiowarehouse.com/MITSRHD500

-	but you will have to contact them directly for a quote.

The Bell ExpressVu 6000 also seems to support both output options.
You can find more about it at –

http://global-cm.net/CAN/equip/BExVu.html

(this may be the same as the Dish 6000)

This system is available from Jonic in Canada. I found it on the Web
at –

http://www.jonic.ca/products_ECH6000.html

However, note that it seems it is not sold in the US and therefore may
not be FCC approved.

I hope this response adequately addresses your request.
Thanks,
ragingacademic

thanks for the prompt reply! i currently have a SR-HD5 installed and
should have mentioned the fact, sorry. however it outputs either a
component signal OR the s-video/composite signal - it cannot due both
simultaneously neither can the sony sat hd200, in fact after doing
some more research today i can't find one receiver which does that - i
think the problem(s) will be solved when the tivo & replay people make
a box with component video inputs - i think i am just a little ahead
of that product, darn! thanks again, m2

You may be able to find more information by posting a question to the
HDTV forum. You can access the forum at -

It seems to be quite an active forum.

Thanks again and please do not hesitate to require additional

the answer was prompt, however my question was not fully understood
and i should have been more clear it stating it and including the
equipment i now have installed.
