I was able to find statistics on market shares for the mobile phone
companies worldwide, though it is not divided into contract and
prepaid areas. Is this information acceptable to you, or do you need
something else? Also, are you looking for worldwide figures, or are
you searching for figures for a specific area?

I've searched, but it seems companies are willing to give only the
global market shares. Even at the site recommended by Ragingacademic
below, which is actually a very good site on cell phone statistics,
does not contain handset market shares solely for the UK. The
information may only be available on the Internet in the form of a
paid research document. I'll see sooner or later if it turns up for
free. If the question expires without any further info added, there
certainly isn't any info on the Net yet.

I could not locate market share for specific phones in the UK;
however, the following link should provide you with a lot of relevant
information.  Global data is prevalent; it's the UK data that is a bit
difficult to come by.
