The good news is that I have found several patterns which I believe
are exactly what you are seeking.
I am guessing that you are looking for scenery patterns with lifelike
coloring. If you are open to patterns that are all one color, such as
gray, blue, pink, green, brown, or black, there are quite a few
patterns available, and not all of them have been discontinued. If you
are interested in the monochrome scenery patterns, instead of rating

The not-so-good news is that the lifelike multicolored patterns I have
found have all been discontinued. However, many pieces in these
patterns can be found at on-line china stores, and I believe that you
might be able to build nearly a full set in a short period of time.

Hi, rexann!
With further searching, although I have found some active scenery
patterns, I have not found any with snow (that aren't brightly-colored
contemporary winter scenes) yet, but I am going to continue looking.
In the meantime, perhaps you and your fiance could go through all the
patterns listed below, as well as the ones I listed previously, and
pick out 3 or 4 that you like the best. Then I can see what sort of
availability there is for those patterns, to determine whether we
would be able to build you a full set.
For a first go, I recommend you just click on all the plate close-ups,
making note of the ones that really strike your fancy, then go back
and try to narrow down your choices. Once you have done that, post
your choices in a Request for Clarification, and I will take a look
for you.
I will let you know if I am able to find any active winter scenery
china patterns. In the meantime, if you have a question, post a
