How can I obtain local calls made on my telephone?  My local provider
says that they do not have this information?

Hello bullet99!

Who is your local service provider?  I've been grilling mine about
obtaining LUDs (Local Usage Details), but they claim this is
impossible unless you subscribe to Detailed Billing for monitoring
from here on out.

If this is the sort of service you want, telling me who your provider
is will let me check into the availability.

Additionally, I have found a few firms which offer LUDs for up to 3
months back for $59 per billing cycle record obtained.  If this is
what you're looking for, I will include this information.

I want to try to help but want to make sure I understand what you're
asking. You're wanting to know how you can find a list of local calls
that were made from your land-based telephone, correct? Or are you
looking to obtain the ability to make local calls?

I am in Virginia and my local telephone co. is Sprint.......In
response to one answer I am looking for how to get a detailed billing
with numbers provided made locally from my home telephone........

I went on the Sprint website and found information at:
http://csb.sprint.com/home/local/faq/HowToRead/local_services.html

They do mention that they've redesigned their monthly statement, so
the itemized calling information may be a new feature.
