Who, specifically were the sponsors for 11th hour addition to the
Homeland Security Bill - changing it so that this mega agency could
make deals with corporations that work through off-shore entities set
up to avoid US taxes? I have contacted my Congressman's office,
Michael Bilarakis several times asking them to provide me with this
answer and nobody calls, emails or writes me back regarding an answer.
I have also talked with the office of the Majority Whip, Tom Delay -
twice and have been referred back to my congressman who won't help me
find out. I decided to ask "the smart ones" at Google Answer. Can
you help me find this out? I would like the names of the specific
sponsors, the congressmen who were sleazy enough to "tuck" this in to
a bill we all wanted passed.

I would like to add on other comment. While I think that Google
Answers is the very greatest, I think that the Google Search engine is
going down hill. I use Google all the time and am pretty good at
query. However, just try to find the text to the final passage of the
Homeland Security Bill that went to the President through Google.
When you type in Homeland Security Bill or Homeland Security Bill
text, there is no reference to Thomas, no reference to House.gov. . .
nothing at all that takes you to the actual text. You can add the
words, final passage, House Bill number . . . nothing at all prompts
Google to offer you any link to the text of the Bill that is the very
most important bill to most of us - dealing with the future security
of our country. Nice work Google Search Engine!
