Hello snowbunny, you are asking four questions here. You will probably
increase your chances of having all or at least some of them answered
if you post them as four separate questions.

The questions are from Native American Indians found in the book, Native
American Heritage, third edition, by Merwyn S. Garbarino and Robert F.
Sasso

Hello snowbunny,

What I was trying to say was that if you post one question which just
asks "What was the original purpose of the Tlingit potlatches? How did
their
focus change?" you are more likely to get an answer from a researcher.
Someone may want to answer this, but not really want to research the
other questions you ask here. The question about the trickster is a
huge one, which could take a lot of research, especially if you want a
comparison of the trickster figures in a number of mythologies, eg
Coyote, Odin, not to mention other characters who have a trickster
element, such as Isis, Inanna... It really needs to stand alone, and
you would stand a better chance of getting an answer if you were
willing to post it at a higher price, according to the pricing
guidelines at https://answers.google.com/answers/pricing.html
