If I want to a build a 3d games multimedia system for multi-user,how I
am going to link it all and how is system architecture will be,the
workstations required and what hardware needed

I can recommend a good book: "3D Games: Real Time endering and
Software Technology" by Watt and Policarpo.  I use it for my major at
Penn - good book :0)
