I would like to know how to design a sturdy open shelf bookcase. In particular I am looking for detial drawings and or hardware which will explain techniques for constructing a open bookscase. Like the Arc Bookcase Example:http://www.crateandbarrel.com/store/details.asp?category=15&index=15 or http://www.smartfurniture.com/indexgoogle.html |

Hi brooksdesign~ After an extensive web search, I was surprised to discover that there weren't more plans out there for open bookcases. However, I did find one plan that fits your criteria, and comes in the form of a book, complete with a list of supplies/hardware needed. By Robert W. Lang, you will find it at this link http://www.cambiumbooks.com/books/arts_and_crafts/LANG_LJG644 Keywords Used: "how to" build "open bookcase" ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=%22how+to%22+build+%22open+bookcase%22&btnG=Google+Search Good luck and have fun! kriswrite | |
