I need to know the history of the words: progressive, rebellion, plus
the two words together, progressive rebellion, if it exists. (I’m
looking for OED good.)

I would also like to know if there usage changed. i.e. was
progressive always used to describe something forward thinking? And
were rebellions always open, armed, and organized resistance?

And finally, have any movements ever been called progressive
rebellions? (Maybe the first communists?)
