Hi bmannon, You will measure the entire bracelet from clasp to clasp. Lay the bracelet down on a flat surface - take any kind of tape measure and measure from one end to the other. Or, you can take a piece of string and mark or cut off the end of the string where the bracelet begins and ends and then measure the string. The only thing you need to really concern yourself with is having the bracelet be so snug it can't be clasped. Women sometimes like to wear more than one at a time, and have them be different sizes in length. You really can't go wrong if it's a bit larger than her wrist size. Hope this helps, tlspiegel Google Answers Researcher search terms none: personal experience (one who has worn many bracelets in her life!) |

Do you mean to determine whether or not it will fit her? I make a lot of beaded jewelry, and the average woman's wrist is 17cm around. As long as the whole bracelet is about 18-19cm, you can be almost certain it will fit. |
