headsetsdotcom...

I'm reasonably certain that the following question
evoked the most comments, as people were collaborating
in arriving at the solution of a very challenging
puzzle. 101 comments were posted:

Additionally, a second posting of the same question
accrued another 43 comments, for a total of 154:

The fact that the answer was worth $200 is probably
a relevant factor, as well.

Another question which garnered 40 comments for only $10
was a search for a word meaning "A furtive rustling
beneath the sheets":

I suspect that this question appealed to the ingenuity
and humor of the researchers, which were certainly
evident in their comments!

Another factor in the number of comments is that neither
question was answered, due to their difficulty, which
meant that they were allowed to remain open for a whole
month before they expired.

Please do not rate this answer until you are satisfied that the
answer cannot be improved upon by means of a dialog with
the researcher through the "Request for Clarification" process.
